Required Documentation: It is very easy to get married in Barbados. There is no required waiting period or minimum length of stay. Documents Required: Valid Passports or the original or certified copies of birth certificates. If either party was divorced, an original Decree Absolute or a certified copy of the Final Judgment and if either party was previously married and widowed, a certified copy of the Marriage Certificate and/or Death Certificate. Where necessary, all documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation. Application for a marriage license must be made by both parties in person at the office of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Fees: if neither party is a citizen or resident of Barbados - BDS $200.00 cash and a $25.00 in Barbados postage stamps.

With an array of activities available geared toward boys and girls, the Arts & Crafts program encourages children to create collages and jewelry from stones and seashells scavenged from the beach or create memorable scrapbooks of their Cobblers Cove vacation. Children can also learn how to create shadow puppets and later present a shadow puppet production for their parents.

The Arts and Crafts facility offers everything a child needs to create, imagine and play. Materials include paints, crayons, stencils, card and paper etc. In addition there is a library of children?s books, a toy library and bean bags for reading.

For activities outside, Cobblers Cove offers children-friendly excursions to many of Barbados' attractions including the Animal Sanctuary, Flower Forest, Ocean Park, and Graham Hall Nature Reserve. Spend the day at the beach swimming with sea turtles, hibiscus-hunt in the lush gardens and explore the natural grounds where mongoose and monkeys scamper about. The Resort is perfect for the busy family looking for quality time together as well as for parents who need a little alone time as children can keep themselves occupied through the Arts & Crafts activities. Arts & Crafts Room There is a Children's Arts & Craft Room located at the south of the property for children 2 - 12 years. During Christmas, Easter, July and August supervision is available daily between 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Baby Sitting We have a number of dedicated baby sitters who can be called upon to look after children at an additional cost. (24 hours notice appreciated.)

Children's Meals •Children are encouraged to have dinner between 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. A special balanced and nutritious children's menu is available at all times.

Children under 5 are not permitted in the bar & lounge after 7:00 p.m.

Cobblers Cove is located on one of Barbados' finest and quietest beaches. With its clear, blue waters, excellent for swimming and beautiful white sands, this beach is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. Or join in the watersports activities that are readily available.

A short stroll along the coast reveals several other attractive beaches close by.

Within easy walking distance of Cobblers Cove, is the historic town of Speightstown. In this quaint town, you will find some excellent restaurants, shopping facilities, banking, art galleries and even a museum. You will also see in and around the area, some fine examples of Barbadian architecture and culture and the luxury marina Port St. Charles.

There are several activities and attractions further afield and the friendly staff of Cobblers Cove will be happy to assist with necessary taxi arrangements for guests wishing to explore the island.
