Flights To Barbados and Barbados Airport

 

 

Flights

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic have daily flights from London Gatwick Airport (LGW) direct to Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). These flights are approximately 8 hours and 45 minutes in length.

British Airways and American Airlines also have many flights flying out of London Heathrow Airport (LHR) that make one stop in the US during their journey to Barbados. These flights vary in length.

Virgin Atlantic Airways also offer direct flights to Barbados from Manchester Airport (MAN). These flights are approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes in length.

Grantley Adams Airport

Airport Facilities Money and communications: There is a bank, a post office and bureaux de change.

Eating and drinking: There is a bar and restaurant at the airport.

Shopping: There is a pharmacy, souvenir shop, ice-cream parlour, supermarket and delicatessen. Duty-free can be found in the Departures lounge; there is also an in-bound duty-free shop in the Arrivals lounge, open for international flights.

Other facilities: There is a chapel on the mezzanine level. Conference and Business Facilities The Club Caribbean Lounge has a business centre, with fax and Internet facilities, as well as meeting rooms. The British Airways and BWIA first and business class lounges also have fax and Internet facilities. Airline executive lounges are located on the mezzanine level.

Facilities for Disabled Travellers The Arrivals and Departure halls are located on the ground floor and can be accessed by disabled passengers. There is a lift to the restaurant on the mezzanine floor and disabled toilets throughout the airport. Wheelchairs can be provided by individual airlines, who will assist passengers onto the aircraft by ambulift; passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.

Hotels There are no hotels on the airport site.
